Dr. Neff is a licensed psychologist/consultant with over 35 years of experience. He works with a variety of clients to help them reach their personal goals. He works with anxiety disorders, relationship issues, and performance issues which arise at work, in their personal lives as well as in the athletic arena. Dr. Neff's training is in psychodynamic theory and cognitive-behavioral therapy. He draws on the psychodynamic theory to gain understanding of the individual and uses a more cognitive-behavioral approach in his work with clients.
Dr. Neff also uses performance enhancement training/positive psychology in his work with "high performance" clients. Dr. Neff has worked extensively with CEOs in major corporations, professional and elite amateur athletes and professional sport organizations including the Boston Celtics of the NBA, the Boston Bruins and the New York Rangers of the NHL.
He also consults with CEOs and their teams of major corporations in the area of organizational development, team building and executive coaching. He has conducted Stress Management Training programs in corporations around the Boston area. He was the stress management consultant to Children's Hospital in Boston, MA.
