About
I work holistically with motivated younger and old adults to promote general physical and mental health and wellbeing by focusing on their personal strengths to increase effective living and loving. Problems can come from day-to-day school, job, or family stressors, chronic physical pains, or poor sleeping. I am a highly trained and certified hypnotherapist and can use mindful hypnosis as a tool for helping you reach a deeply relaxed and focused state for re-programing your nervous system for better health and personal wellbeing. This includes enhancing physical healing by preparing for major surgical procedures to lessen pain.
There are untrue myths about hypnosis. A clinical hypnotist can’t “control” you or force you to do anything you do not want to do. In fact, mindful hypnosis is a learning process in which you learn how to deeply relax. Then you can self-explore and re-program yourself to better understand what and why you do what you do - to make your unknown known to you.
Changes take time. Treatments are established over several weeks, usually not less than four weekly or twice-weekly sessions. Since I emphasize holistic wellbeing, your general lifestyle will also be checked for getting good nutrition, adequate exercise, and restful sleeping. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation for answering any of your questions.
