Dr. Frederick Mondin has trained with a large segment of the "Masters in the Field" in the areas of individual, Marriage, and Sex counseling. He received training from Minuchin; Satir; Whitaker; Perls; Ellis; Jay Haley, Masters & Johnson, Kegel, and a host of others. He is the author of Erotic Marriage which has won awards in book festival competitions in London, Paris, New England, New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. It won the 2013 National Indie Excellence Award. In 2018 Rowman & Littlefield published his new updated and expanded book Erotic Love & Marriage. Dr. Mondin teaches that Marriage is a psychological, emotional, and spiritual sense of connection and without that sense of connection a couple is not married even though they had a wedding and have a license. He also teaches that a couples sexual relationship should be mutually fulfilling.
Dr. Mondin has been in marriage with Dr. Joan Henderson for over 43 years and They share a private practice. They often counsel couples together as a couple. For individuals who are working on personal issues they provide both individual and group Therapy.

Self development & Improvement Group
Co-ed group to explore all feelings and issues. The group creates the subject or issues to be dealt with at each meeting. The purpose is to process feelings and gain insight and deeper understanding of the issues. A non-judgemental-supportive process is provided with feedback from group members under the leadership and insight of Dr. Frederick Mondin. No advice is given because it has not been found to help. The process is to help each member discover their own understanding and solutions. The group will not give you cookies, but will teach you how to bake them.
