Finding someone to help you work through conflicts you might have never revealed before, I believe, is worth that risk. Therefore, whether we meet in the comfort of my private office, or online in the comfort and convenience of your home, please know I consider your presence sacred. The process of changing old points of view to new perspectives can feel daunting; this I offer alongside a safe space to explore what that might look like for you.
My primary approach to therapy utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which helps recognize negative or unhelpful thought and behavior patterns, (and perspectives) and then reframe them. I also believe in folding in a strengths-based approach; that my clients already possess resources, supports, resilience, and other positive qualities they can leverage.
I find I work best with individual clients who are committed self-starters of their own change work, primarily between 18 and 65 years of age, who have an established team of natural supports around them.
