When treating OCD, I use elements of ERP and psychodynamic treatment together. This integrated approach targets the symptoms of OCD, while also revealing its underlying causes. I find that this approach can help my clients understand how their symptoms relate to their past experiences, ultimately leading to a more sustainable recovery from OCD.
