About
Life is full of challenging times and transitions and I understand how vital compassion and support can be when struggling through these challenges. I have spent the last few years working with foster, adopted, and troubled youth in residential treatment, rehousing programs, and case management. I am passionate about enhancing healthy coping, communication, and attachment skills while fostering a safe environment for individuals and families to process grief, trauma, loss, and day to day struggles. I work with all ages but especially love helping children and youth affected by foster care and adoption.
I am a licensed master of social work with the guidance and supervision of two LCSW's who specialize in foster care and adoption work. I am nationally certified in adoption competent counseling and specifically focus in grief and ambiguous loss, trauma, attachment, play therapy, and Theraplay to help you through your unique situations.
