I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and co-owner of Good Day Sunshine Counseling LLC who has 25 plus years' experience working adults, adolescents, children, and families in an array of settings including Community Mental Health/Drug and Alcohol, School Settings and Private Practice. I believe in providing support that is unique to each individual to help choose the best treatment approach.
I use a variety of Treatment Modalities that are Client-Centered including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Play Therapy, Solution-Focused Counseling, and Structural Family Therapy. I assist clients with overcoming life's many challenges, obstacles and stressors.
I have an eclectic approach to counseling and have a particular interest in treating anxiety, depression, emotional distress, school difficulties, LGBTQ issues, interpersonal relationships and complex life changes including trauma and grief.
