I provide warmth, compassion, and empathy with regard to treating my clients, and I focus on establishing trust, mutuality and collaboration throughout the course of psychotherapy treatment. I also believe that when clients participate actively and are committed to psychotherapy treatment a successful outcome and positive results are much more likely to occur. Thus, I tend to challenge my clients so as to help them gain insight into their problems, relieve them of emotional and psychic pain, become active agents of change, and to help them take control of their lives.
I work in an outpatient setting and specialize in working with children, adolescents, and families of high conflict divorce. I provide services to families as a Parenting Coordinator/Special Master, Custody Evaluator, and Re-unification Therapist.

Frank is a wonderful therapist and a caring supervisor. He is unfailingly optimistic and insightful; I have consulted with him, and referred clients to him, many times over the years. His positive, intelligent and friendly manner all add up to a wonderful therapist, well-read and superbly capable. He is also one of those rare psychologists with a commitment to life-long learning and continuous improvement: I literally can't think of anything interaction I've ever had with him that was in any way negative.

Frank is a genuine, attentive therapist whose personal style is warm and engaging. Frank has a way of framing his comments to pinpoint what is really going on for his clients, in a manner that is supportive and validating. I highly recommend his work.

Jay is an excellent practitioner and very astute scholar. I have consulted with with Jay on a regular basis about a variety of issues(e.g., diversity, forensic and organizational) pertaining to my clinical practice. Additionally, Jay is warm, compassionate and very thoughtful. I recommend him without any reservation!!

Dr. Barrow is my "go-to-person" when I need consultation in treating children and families dealing with issues revolving around Gender Identity and Complex Trauma. Also while Dr. Barrow has established herself as an authority figure on the aforementioned areas, she is very approachable, down-to-earth, and warm. As you can see, I think very highly of Dr. Barrow and I hope you get the wonderful opportunity to meet and work with as I did.

I cannot say more than enough good things about Elena. What impresses me most about Elena is the way she is able to make her clientele and colleagues feel safe, understood and respected. This quality separates Elena from other mental health professionals. I recommend her enthusiastically.
