I work with adults, couples, families, and adolescents on a wide range of challenges including depression, anxiety, poor self image, relationship issues, trauma, and eating disorders. My approach is engaged and interactive, directly focusing on the difficulties that you are facing. Reconnecting with your true self and healing and strengthening your relationships are key elements of our work together. I am a caring and attentive listener and dedicate myself to helping you achieve optimal contentment and peace of mind. My therapeutic approach includes aspects of cognitive therapy, DBT, mindfulness and Buddhist psychology, narrative therapy, and somatic therapy.
Areas of particular focus are: relationship work, including family and couples therapy; resolving patterns of self-criticism and destructive emotion that foster anxiety, depression, and anger; attending to the unique challenges of adolescence and young adulthood; eating disorder treatment; and mindfulness-based therapy.
