| español I’m a bilingual LPC Associate and owner of Conejo Counseling. I work with young adults through the lifespan individually and with couples. I cover topics mostly related to depression, anxiety, stress, communication, sex and sexuality, and LGBTQIA+ topics. I aim to find where a client is and where they would like to go while exploring the various "rabbit holes" along the way. Like a GPS, without identifying where we are beginning it’s impossible to provide a way.
I like to focus on a client’s strengths and experiences to repurpose the tools they have used in the past and apply them to current situations. In some cases, understanding that new skills are necessary and providing the means to develop those in theory and in practice both inside and outside of a session.
I want to explore who you’ve been to build on who you want to be. Sometimes the hardest question to answer is: “Who am I”. Together, we can identify who you’ve had to be in shift our focus into who you’d like to become. Remaining first and foremost true to one’s self and understanding therapy is for one, not for others.
