I enjoy working with people in a safe and supportive atmosphere where
a person can open to who they really are, and discover strengths and solutions that they never knew were possible.
I feel that my client and I can figure out more together than either one of us could have separately. I believe that human beings are self-healing, and it is thrilling to me to use my knowledge and experience to enliven the healing process.
I work with people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, past traumatic experiences, or challenging life changes.
I have a post doctoral diploma in Jungian Psychoanalysis. I believe that it is often useful and interesting to focus on people's dreams to get at the other-than-conscious causes of an individual's emotional pain. The unconscious holds many solutions waiting to be discovered-- by us.
I am very open to working with new people. I am glad to talk on the phone with anyone who has questions before entering the therapy process. Although I accept a number of insurances, I have more availability for self pay clients.
