My clients appreciate my warmth and kindness as well as my active engagement and communication. My approach includes behavioral, psychodynamic and psycho-educational strategies. Many clients have workplace issues as well as problems of daily life and conflict within the family setting. Often clients need to get in touch with their strengths and learn some new coping skills and strategies to enhance their relationships and quality of life. I have a special interest in themes of burnout, midlife transitions and work/life balance. I am prepared for short and medium term commitments.
I have been in practice for over 30 years and have a lot of life experience to provide seasoning and empathy. In addition to my clinical practice I have taught in university departments of social work, psychology and business. Currently I am developing a group program focusing on the challenges of creative aging.
I have developed workshops for continuing education in personal effectiveness, shyness, burnout in the helping professionals, and topics such as the male midlife crisis.
