My specialty lies in supporting adults as they navigate increasing responsibilities in their careers while also managing personal life phases such as dating, marriage, parenting, and losses. Many of my clients are dealing with stress, anxiety, sadness, or depression. I integrate current research and traditional approaches: many clients find value in acquiring skills for emotional regulation and interpersonal effectiveness, while others explore larger issues related to their personal values and life's purpose.
Beyond individual therapy, I have expertise in couple counseling, including relationships where partners have different cultural backgrounds. Using my knowledge of the varieties of communication styles and personalities, I guide couples in cultivating skills that reduce emotional reactivity and avoidance, fostering deeper intimacy and mutual understanding.
I completed my clinical training (Doctoral Internship and Fellowship) at Northwestern University after having earned a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School. In my previous life, I obtained a Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University.
