Hello and welcome to Francesca Musengo LCSW-C LLC. This is the first step in improving your quality of life. Mental health continues to be stigmatized in our society, but what if therapy is the key to relief and acceptance? I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW-C), and I provide outpatient individual and couple's therapy services. I've earned my master's degree from University of Maryland School of Social Work, and I have 12 years experience working with diverse populations in the Baltimore area. I've worked in a wide range of settings including clinics, homes, and schools.
I specialize in treating adults with symptoms such as depression, anxiety, trauma responses, and intimacy/relationship challenges. I will customize your treatment using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), polyvagal theory, and psychodynamic modalities among many others. I will provide a safe and neutral space for us to work together on meeting your goals.
My passion for my work stems from my own mental health challenges and healing journey. The biggest reward for me is giving back, teaching and guiding. My personality and therapy style is open and up front, of course with understanding and empathy. I'm engaging, want to build trust, and will give you comedic relief at the right time.
