Sometimes we experience unexpected challenges as we navigate our lives. Each of us has our own unique set of needs and goals for therapy. My goal as a therapist is to offer a safe place where my clients can feel comfortable working through difficult times; a judgement free zone that leaves them feeling valued and heard. My passion is working with adults and adolescents who struggle with depression, anxiety, personal growth and family issues.
My approach to counseling is integrated. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing with clients. I also use inventories, scaling and decision balance exercises. I believe that in order to be successful, therapy must target the whole person; psychological, physical, social and spiritual.
I will meet you where you are on your journey and work together to create a therapeutic relationship that aids in your development of the skills that you need to reach your goals.
