I am grateful for this opportunity to introduce myself. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in working with Adults. I draw from different types of therapy when working with individuals seeking help with Anxiety, Depression, Stress, Trauma, grief, Addictions, Codependency, pregnancy, job stress, and anger issues. The types of therapies I draw from are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical and Behavioral Therapy, and trauma-informed approaches.
I approach my work with clients by starting where the person is and learning about the reasons for seeking therapy. I focus on building rapport and a good therapeutic alliance so that I can have a good understanding of where the person is emotionally, as I believe it is essential as we work together towards healing and building your mental health.
