As a former college counselor, working with all areas of mental health, learning disabilities, head, trauma, crisis counseling and various accommodations and accessibility, my clinical training and 20 years of professional work allow me to I offer clinical treatment with a Christian centered option. My goal with each client is to reduce symptomatic stress, negative and irrational thinking, as well as negative behaviors and triggers that cause intense emotional and physical pain. Healing and behavioral growth are a process and not to be rushed. Treatment aligned to achieve personal health and wellbeing is essential and a process.
As a licensed New York State mental health counselor, I have been trained to provide services in relationship couple counseling through the Gottman Institute, trauma work, mindfulness skills building, cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety, depression, grief, and suicidal ideation and prevention. I offer support for unfortunate life adjustments.
