I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of experience working with individuals and families in many settings to address the life issues that prevent feelings of fulfillment and happiness. I consider therapy an opportunity to partner with clients to prioritize goals and build on strengths. Therapy is a safe and validating place to address challenges while being supported.
I use a number of clinical interventions to help my clients learn skills to accept difficult current or past life circumstances or events, and to change current thoughts and behaviors, all with the goal of improving quality of life. I have extensive training in CBT, REBT, and DBT treatment interventions.
I am a strong believer in human resilience and lifelong growth and learning. Therapy is a growth journey toward creating or improving our life circumstances through building skills, challenging the obstacles, understanding and sometimes forgiving ourselves or others in order to find peace, acceptance, and ultimately happiness.
