Do you have concerns about changes to memory or thinking, but are not sure what is causing these changes? Are you concerned you may have dementia, or have you experienced a traumatic brain injury or stroke, and are not sure how this is impacting your cognition? Are you worried you may have ADHD? A neuropsychological evaluation is like a puzzle; neuropsychologists find as many pieces of the puzzle as they can (physical, mental, and social health) and piece them together to figure out which of these are impacting cognitive abilities, and to what extent. My practice is built around making complex problems more understandable.
Using up-to-date and research-based methods, I conduct a thorough neuropsychological evaluation in order to try to get answers to these questions, and make an individual plan for treatment. Living with cognitive concerns is difficult; I strive to make this more simple and actionable by identifying the underlying cause(s) and how to address them.
