My name is Aslin (az-lynn), and I work best with people who are ready to change the narrative of their life for the better, while balancing the realities of the society we live in. I focus on teens, and adults ranging from 20s-60s, with the competence to work with couples and non-monogamous romantic partnerships. Being multi-racial, I deeply appreciate working with others in the BIPOC community so as to offer support in a typically under-resourced area for us. My focus is on somatic processing, mindfulness based practices and sex therapy.
My work as a therapist is rooted in a humanistic, trauma-informed approach. I believe that our bodies remember what our minds may have forgotten, and know it can often be easier to communicate through movement and somatic processing. I integrate and facilitate a body centered psychotherapy practice, informed by my time as a LMT, and now Student Counselor.
