With this belief, I decided to devote my time in achieving a doctorate degree in psychology from California School of Professional Psychology. I am a psychologist trained in clinical and forensic psychology. My training and experience have allowed me to develop clinical expertise in treatment modalities that are evidence based, such as CBT and ACT. I also have extensive training in the assessment of psychological concerns including diagnostic clarification and personality functioning.

As a therapist I value self-inquiry, relationships, and finding meaning. My primary goal is to create an environment where clients feel accepted and heard, while simultaneously challenged to find new perspectives. At the core of my practice is a nonjudgemental attitude and a desire to bring awareness into my client's lives. We will work together with the goal of exploring different aspects of your self in order to uncover why you may be feeling stuck or unsatisfied.

I specialize in helping college students and adults during life changes that affect the family dynamics and/or the individual person. Whether it's divorce, death, relationship changes, adjustment disorders, depression (including post-partum) and anxiety, I will provide a supportive, person-centered approach using relational therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy to help the individual gain insight and learn effective coping skills to lead a balanced, healthy life.

I received my Master of Arts in Counseling from St. Edward's University, in Austin, Texas in August 2005. In 2003, I received my Master of Arts in Human Services from St. Edward's. In 2001 I graduated from St. Edward's University with a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Psychology. In December 2011, I graduated from Argosy University in Dallas, Texas with a Doctor of Clinical Psychology.
