Nobody gets through life without difficult experiences. Some experiences, like living through childhood neglect, abuse, or family dysfunction, make everyday stressors even more difficult. As a psychologist, counselor, and evaluator, I look at sessions as a collaborative process. I am a licensed psychologist with over twenty years experience as a counselor, therapist, and diagnostician, and am active in training therapists.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 16 years of clinical experience working with children (as young as 4 years old), adolescents, and adults. Since starting my career I have had the opportunity to work with clients individually, as well as with their families to assist them in coping with their conflicts and struggles. I try to provide positive guidance, open communication, strength building, and honest advice to best assist individuals, families, and couples in reaching their goals.

My ideal client isn't defined by part of their identity as much as it is their circumstances. I consider a lot of social conditioning when working with my individual clients, especially with men's issues and women's issues. I work with couples who may be discussing separation or who are navigating parenthood and new life stages. My goal is always to help my clients access their vulnerability, which is where our most helpful tools hang out, so they can experience pleasant changes outside of the office.

I work with those experiencing mental health issues, trauma, and addictions. An ideal client would be someone who took suggestions and invested in their own healing. Their needs may include a mood disorder or behavior that they want to change. We would work on their thinking and how that impacts their behaviors. We would also look at their motivations and how to increase their motivations to make better decisions. The goal would be that the client would do what they learn in therapy while living their lives. They would no longer need me to help them through things and would be able to lean on their natural support.

Hi there, I’m Stephanie! A little bit about me is that I have approximately five years of clinical experience. In 2016, I graduated from Shippensburg University with my bachelors degree in psychology and then continued at Shippensburg University to receive my masters degree in clinical mental health counseling graduating in 2018. I have worked in and with several different treatment modalities and settings with different populations to include inpatient behavioral health treatment with teens and adults in a psychiatric inpatient setting, inpatient and outpatient substance abuse counseling, and prison work.

As a Counseling Psychologist I am searching to find health or “ego strength“ in a person. People are capable of having internal positive and negative aspects in play at all times. Working from a psychodynamic model to see the whole clinical picture, I believe insight is crucial but it doesn’t guarantee behavior change. To that end I work from a cognitive and behavioral model to build strength.

We are currently living in very uncertain times. Within this uncertainty, it is important to find a relationship that will help you sustain important relationships. Part of what makes our relationship work, beyond my clinical skills, is when my clients feel heard and understood. My clients often present with a variety of issues including relationship issues, anger, depression, anxiety, and/or problems with unhealthy substance use/abuse. While I offer general psychotherapy in my office on the grounds of Marywood University where I am an Assistant Professor, I specialize in treatment of intimate partner violence; a pervasive and destructive force in our culture. This approach is designed to allow Bob and his clients to identify and examine the relationships, events, and underlying issues that triggered substance use and the process of addictions. He is internationally certified to employ a host of approaches and modalities to meet the unique needs of each person. Bob partners with his clients to begin a journey toward freedom, serenity, and enhanced health.

As part of the team at Easton Neuropsychology, I currently provide comprehensive evaluation and assessment services, children through older adult, for people experiencing cognitive, memory, attentional, or psychological issues. I help with figuring out appropriate diagnoses and making recommendations for retirement. AlthoughI am not providing psychotherapy services myself at this time, Easton Neuropsychology has a variety of therapists with availability, as well as the ability to provide medication management services for our clients.
