I personally have experienced much of life's hardships but I'm grateful for that because it gave me the opportunity to help others! I love helping people find their passion and understand how to cope through life. I primarily work with narcissistic abuse survivors as well as empaths and HSP's. Understanding how to function in a world that you seemingly don't fit into can be a huge challenge that comes with what seems like, debilitating anxiety, depression, and more. Being an empath myself, I can completely understand and relate to my clients!

Desert Life Psychotherapy provides a space to explore emotional and relational difficulties related to depression, anxiety, family conflict, and interpersonal struggles in day to day life. I provide counseling to teens and adults who are ready to begin understanding themselves in order to create a brighter and more productive future. I am most effective at treating individuals and families who are ready to understand the underlying issues leading to current symptoms through self-exploration, and are looking for insight to create lasting change in their lives.

Sylvia K. Neal, MSW, LCSW, PLLC, is a licensed clinical social worker specializing in the field of sexual abuse and trauma. She has worked in this area for over 20 years starting with female adult survivors of sexual abuse and sexual assault and has dedicated much of her work to the area of sexual abuse, incest, perpetration and sexual acting out. She has extensive experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, addictions, anger, violence and abuse.

My service goal is to provide the highest level of counseling services, in order to empower individuals to lead healthy and productive lives. Our services are directed towards the individual's ability to personalize and make counseling practical to their life experiences, thus enhancing feelings of belonging, acceptance of personal responsibility and empowering themselves to make choices and decisions that lead to positive consequences.

We are accepting new patients! Drs. Bradley and Courtney McConnell easily build rapport with individuals and create evidence-based treatment plans to help them reach their goals. You are an active participant in your treatment and have a say in what your goals for therapy are. We have a significant breadth of experience in a variety of settings so we are able to work with a lot of concerns that people have. We do not offer on-call crisis counseling and our outpatient telehealth practice is not appropriate for high acuity patients.

I work with a lot of individuals struggling with depression and anxiety; most of my clients have also struggled in engaging in healthy sexual behaviors and have experienced behaviors such as pornography viewing which has made it difficult for them to connect with their partners. I am committed to helping you develop better coping skills that will help you to think, feel, and behave in ways that will enrich and fulfill your life.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist and certified school psychologist . I have over 30 years of experience across a variety of settings including outpatient clinics, psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment for children and adolescents and group homes for adjudicated youth. Years ago I was also a teacher and special education director. I spent the last 17 years working in community mental health with children, adolescents and adults and also with adults in the prison system. In November 2015 I opened Palo Santo Psychotherapy and Wellness and realized my dream of working in a wellness setting with like-minded clinicians.
