I am a Licensed Psychologist and have worked in the mental health field for over 40 years. My experience is diverse, having worked with children, adolescents and adults with a focus on the treatment of mood disorders, substance abuse disorders and autism. My current areas of specialization include forensic psychology and psychological assessment. I do not do individual therapy and am not accepting therapy clients in Sedona or Flagstaff.

Just as you visit physicians for preventive care, you can meet with a psychologist to address issues before they become problematic. This proactive approach encourages the development of psychological health. People are in good psychological health when they make good decisions, manage stress well, communicate effectively, have healthy relationships, and take good care of themselves emotionally and physically. My name is Devine Carson. I am a Michigan native that currently resides in and works across the valley in Arizona. I am a master's level clinician specializing in therapeutic intervention modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to assist with general mental health, concerns such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, etc. I also have a history of working with domestic violence, sexual abuse (victims and offenders), trauma, and holistic health and wellness. Additionally, my background is in forensic psychology, and have experience working with individuals in the legal system.

I am interested in helping individuals, families, and couples who are confronted with difficult challenges in their personal and professional lives. This includes marital obstacles of infidelity, marital stagnation, and partner abuse. It is also my desire to serve those struggling with issues of substance abuse and process addictions; such as pornography, compulsive sexual behaviors, and histories of sexual abuse. In addition, I look forward to helping teens and adolescents who find themselves struggling in areas of social relations, academic progress, and/or who are frequently in trouble at school or with the law due to challenging personal behaviors.

I promise you that even when it feels like you just can't do it anymore.. you really can! I personally have experienced much of life's hardships but I'm grateful for that because it gave me the opportunity to help others! I love helping people find their passion and understand how to cope through life. I primarily work with narcissistic abuse survivors as well as empaths and HSP's. Understanding how to function in a world that you seemingly don't fit into can be a huge challenge that comes with what seems like, debilitating anxiety, depression, and more. Being an empath myself, I can completely understand and relate to my clients!

My aim as a therapist is to help my clients confront difficult situations (whatever they may be) and to empower them to make meaningful change in their lives. I specialize in working with adults and families struggling with addiction problems.

Sylvia K. Neal, MSW, LCSW, PLLC, is a licensed clinical social worker specializing in the field of sexual abuse and trauma. She has worked in this area for over 20 years starting with female adult survivors of sexual abuse and sexual assault and has dedicated much of her work to the area of sexual abuse, incest, perpetration and sexual acting out. She has extensive experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, addictions, anger, violence and abuse.

Dr. De Guzman is a seasoned bilingual Clinical Psychologist with more than 25 years in academia, research, and as practitioner, who believes in the power of human resilience. She uses evidence-based approaches to improve the quality of life of people dealing with challenging situations due to mood, anxiety, and personality disorders, environmental stress, and others. She specializes in substance and behavioral addictions involving prescription or illegal drugs, compulsive relationships, gambling, media and others. She helps the person harness the power for trauma resolution when life happens in ways that leave profound scars.

McGady and Associates Psychological Services (MAAPS) provides a variety of clinical, forensic, consultation, supervision, and training services to the greater phoenix area. Clinical services include individual, couples', and family psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults to address a wide array of issues including depression, anxiety, parenting issues, anger issues, trauma and more.
