Hi, I've been in practice since 1980, I work best with adults and adolescents. My areas of interest are individual and couple therapy. Specific areas are stress disorders, eating disorders, sexual problems, substance abuse, anger, relationship problems, depression and anxiety disorders and coaching. I look at where you are emotionally, nutritionally, your physical fitness level and medical status.I do an evaluation and design a treatment plan to reach your goals.

I strongly believe that every individual is unique and no person or family is the same as another. As a bi-lingual (Spanish and English) Licensed Clinical Psychologist, I have had the pleasure to work with a diverse group of adults, children, and families. I have over 25 years experience working in psychotherapy, crisis intervention with domestic violence, child court advocate, as a forensic psychologist, and as a family court mediator. I assist children and families as they work through challenges and move toward rebuilding their self-confidence and creates a more positive outlook in life.

I have over 35 years experience as a clinical psychologist. I work primarily with individual adults but also have considerable experience working with children and adolescents. My focus is forming a trusting relationship in which together we work to improve your own sense of well being as well as connection to others. Above all I view our work as collaborative and mutually respectful. Clients have described me as highly empathetic, while helping them to achieve real life goals. I work with depression, anxiety, trauma, intimacy, health, and habit disorders including addictions.

People come to therapy because they want to feel better. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, TEAM-CBT model developed by David Burns, MD, including powerful and effective techniques designed to move you from despair to joy.
