Due to my clinical training and experience, my services are best suited for families experiencing relationship issues, parenting stress, divorce, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, attachment issues, developmental disabilities, and immigration-related concerns. Each of my clients receives an individualized treatment plan, and when required, a battery of tests tailored to the individual needs of the client. My work often includes school visits, participating in IEP meetings, home visits, collaboration with pediatricians and psychiatrists, testifying in court, and consulting with experts.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in both New Jersey and New York. My clinical practice focuses on working with children, adolescent, adults, couples, and families with a variety of concerns ranging from adjustment reactions to severe mental illness. I also provide psychological testing for differential diagnosis, psychoeducational evaluations, and cognitive/executive functioning difficulties.

Dr. LaBode-Richman is dually trained and specialized in psychotherapy treatment and neuropsychological assessment. She enjoys working with clients across the lifespan and is able to offer state-of-the-art services in both English and Spanish.

I am a licensed psychologist with more than 20 years of experience in the field of psychology and over 10 years of experience in private practice. I hold a BA from Rutgers University in psychology and women’s studies (2000); an MA in clinical and counseling psychology from Columbia University (2002); and a Doctor of Psychology degree from the American School of Professional Psychology—Washington, DC Campus (2008). I trained in counseling at Montclair State University and neuropsychology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. I completed my doctoral internship at McGill University Health Centre- Montreal General Hospital site.
