Dr. Edwards is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in downtown Pittsburgh. Unique to Pittsburgh are her eight years of academic training in Clinical Forensic Psychology, which involved forensic specialty coursework and applied clinical training in areas of which psychology and the law intersect. Specifically, parental capacity, child custody, court-referred therapy, psychological mitigating circumstances, competency to stand trial, criminal responsibility, sexual offending, risk assessment, juvenile decertification, disability, and other mental health referral questions for individuals involved with the justice system. She has applied experience and academic training in civil and guardianship evaluations and depositions, which she integrates within her practice.
Dr. Edwards has been accepted as an Expert in Allegheny, Washington, and Westmoreland counties. She is happy to serve family and criminal courts in all counties of Pennsylvania. Dr. Edwards also accepts and treats non-court involved clients on a case-by-case basis.
