I am honored to offer you my experience with the fluid use of evidence-based practices and a sense of humor to help you find the skills, resources, and support systems you need to thrive. I work with unique family dynamics, trauma, social challenges, foster care & adoption issues, mood swings, dissociation, isolation, LGBTQ exploration, anxiety, depression, homelessness, stress, transitional adulthood and phase of life challenges, and more. I am a clinical social worker, fully licensed with the state of California and Nevada, with in person services in San Andreas, and virtual services available in both states.
I work best with teenagers 13+ and adults, and focus on IFS-informed Dialectical Behavior Therapy with an adaptive and fluid style that does not restrict clients to workbooks and memorization and takes advantage of your strengths and interests. I enjoy psychoeducation reg. your brain development, function, and anatomy, and holistic self-care & alternatives.
I particularly enjoy working with clients who feel they have "too much to fit in one hour" and have very clear ideas about the type of therapy they are interested in and what they are not, as well as those who feel like they wrestle with "parts of themselves".
