Welcome! I’m Cherie Miller, LPC, an anti-diet counselor who specializes in helping people make peace with food and their bodies, even after years of food and body image issues. I might be the right eating disorder counselor for you if: ~ You don’t allow yourself to eat many foods that you consider “bad” ~ You can't stop binge eating ~ You are sick of yo-yo dieting ~ You get anxious about, and maybe even avoid, social situations where there will be food ~ You dislike your body and want to feel more confident ~ You struggle with perfectionism that keeps you from ever feeling good enough.
If part of you wonders if you can even achieve food and body freedom, that's completely normal. For a long time, I didn’t believe I could, and I’ve heard the same from my clients at points in their journey. But, thankfully, we were wrong—I and so many others have recovered. And so can you, with the right tools, knowledge and support.
Spending all your time and energy worrying about food is NOT the life you deserve. You don't have to keep hating your body and feeling not good enough. It will not be an easy or quick process to heal these things, but it IS possible. Let’s talk today about how I can help you make peace with food and yourself!
