My approach begins with building a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients and meeting them where they are. Throughout the counseling process, clients begin making positive changes through self-exploration, learning positive copings skills, addressing behavioral changes, improving relationships and practicing self-care. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I work to empower clients by using a variety of therapeutic modalities specific to their needs.
Interventions include, Person-Centered, Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy, Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Spirituality.
