My name is Dr. Jennifer Lang and my practice is called "Fluckin' Therapy". I am currently providing individual therapy via telehealth as well as in person for adolescents and adults. I treat anxiety, depression, self-injury, eating disorders, and substance use disorders. I also provide preparation and integration services for those pursuing psychedelic assisted therapy. I am an Emotion Focused therapist (EFT) who believes you have to go through difficult emotions in order to transform them. I will work with you to establish the support system and skills needed in order to achieve your personal goals.
EFT is a process-experiential approach that views emotion as the source of all meaning, direction, and growth. The approach is based on the formation of a close, empathic relationship that explores how you make meaning of your world. Sessions will involve engaging in specific tasks that foster the ability to tolerate and manage difficult emotions.
