Parenting is hard! Parenting a child who is processing trauma or struggling with defiance, anger, or depression, makes parenting even more difficult and confusing. I work from a Christian perspective, specializing in children and teens with ODD, disruptive mood dysregulation disorder (DMDD), depression, anxiety, reactive attachment disorder (RAD) and other types of emotional dysregulation. I see children and their parents separately and together to help strengthen the health of the entire family unit.
I also offer in-home coaching to help parents struggling with tantrums and meltdowns, wanting in-the-moment coaching; as well as individual sessions, and parenting support groups. I also see individuals and specialize in teens and adults who meet the criteria for Borderline Personality Disorder, teaching Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills.
