Life's journey often brings us face-to-face with struggles, trauma, hurt, betrayal, abuse, sickness, sadness, and anxiety. Yet, with hope, we can triumph over these challenges. I believe in the uniqueness of each individual and am committed to partnering with my clients as they seek meaning, healing, and hope. As a mental health counselor, I am honored to be invited into your personal story. I specialize in couples counseling, women's issues, and PTSD/trauma counseling, and I am trained in EMDR and have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT).
My theoretical orientation is rooted in person-centered counseling, but I integrate various approaches to best meet your personal goals and needs. In our sessions, you are the expert on your life experiences. I provide a compassionate, warm, and non-judgmental space where you feel heard and understood. I would love to offer a complimentary 15- 20 min intro.
We will create an environment that encourages self-exploration and self-acceptance through empathetic listening and genuine authenticity. Together, we will examine core beliefs, values, and life goals to foster positive changes in your life and relationships.
