Life can feel like a never-ending to-do list. Where’s the time for you? I help clients who struggle with perfectionism and people pleasing get to the root of their problems. This might come up in life as feeling guilty for saying “no”, feeling selfish for not always putting others first, or feeling “not good enough”. It's difficult to maintain the pressure that others put on you, let alone the pressure that you put on yourself. Is this what you imagined life to be? It's time to break the cycle!

Do you feel stuck? Disconnected from yourself and everyone around you? Hiding from everything because it feels too exhausting to do anything more than basic functioning? Are you taking care of everyone else and neglecting yourself? Do you worry about everything and question every choice you make or thought you have? Do you struggle to manage time and tasks? Forget things or remember them when it's too late? Do you feel overwhelmed, wondering if you’re good enough, or if you’ll finally be seen and accepted for who you are? I see you. You are not alone.

Whether you are facing this problem for the first time or have struggled with it for years, I am here for you. In fact, I have been in your exact shoes. It can be scary, depressing, and extremely frustrating. The good news is that it doesn't have to stay that way. Working with someone who understands what you are going through and also has the skill set to help you can be very relieving. Your therapy sessions should be the time for you to better understand what is happening with you, not doubting whether your therapist even understands. Allow me to be your guide and provide the road map you need to reach your chosen destination.

When the pressures of daily life create distress, there is great satisfaction in finding a solution to lower your natural instinct of fear and anxiety. The main focus of my practice is to locate the limiting beliefs from your history, to free you from the contradictions that limit your growth and confuse you in relationships. The most important goal of therapy is to raise awareness regarding your natural inclination to react to negativity. When you are well anchored on the inside you will not emotionally react to an external challenge or threat.

I am a Somatic Psychotherapist with a focus on helping to build resilience and regulation in ones nervous system. This allows for an organic shift in dealing with life’s stresses whether it comes from current stressors or from traumas of the past as far back as utero (Developmental Trauma). This positively impacts emotional, physical and spiritual well being. I like working with adults who are in transition, who are struggling in their relationship, and/or who continue to have the after effects of traumas in their lives. It is my belief that wounding begins in relationship and therefore needs to be healed in relationship.

I help children who struggle with big emotions, anxiety, behavior challenges, or trauma. These challenges often leave caregivers feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to help. My approach centers the child’s emotional needs while partnering with caregivers to build tools that bring calm, connection, and real change. Using evidence-based, developmentally appropriate methods, I support families in creating more regulation, resilience, and peace at home—so kids can thrive, and caregivers can feel confident again.

When dealing with any type of mental health issues, it can be frustrating and terrifying. When you’re going through it, you feel completely overwhelmed and exhausted. It’s also lonely – for good reason… because you don’t tell other people what’s going on. Who knows what they’d say, and you definitely don’t want them judging you. When you do tell others, it seldom helps. They mean well, but they inevitably say something that hurts your feelings. You lean on friends and family for support, but they make you want to pull your hair out! All this uncertainty and misery isn’t helping, but there’s no clear way around it.
