I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist providing individual psychotherapy with a wide variety of difficulties and concerns. A personalized therapy approach is customized together for your specific needs, wishes, and values. My patients often find it helpful when we integrate trauma-informed approaches with empathic psychoanalytic/psychodynamic ways of understanding their feelings, experiences, and thoughts. Deeper insight into one's relational patterns and how the past influences the present tends to grow clients beyond areas in their lives where they feel stuck or behind so they can move towards their goals.

When was the last time someone asked, “How are you?”—and you gave an honest answer? I mean the real version, the one that sits in your chest and makes everything a little heavier. That’s where we start. I've seen what happens when therapy gets too rigid or robotic, when the humanity of it gets lost. That’s not what you’ll get with me. I’ll use evidence-based methods and also meet you with honesty, care, and a good sense of when to push and when to pause. I believe therapy works best when we can both be our true selves. That means awkward moments, vulnerability, unexpected laughter, and everything in between.

We all fall short. We all have issues. No one person's issues is worse than anyone else's issues; as such we all need someone to come alongside every once in a while. Sometimes it's for support, sometimes it's for clarity. When there is someone to help you bear your burdens they become lighter, more tolerable. When a client enters therapy hopefully they have an open heart, an open mind for therapy is about learning about the things that cause us pain and then learning how to cope with them. No one is broken; brokenness implies the inability to be repaired. We are all wounded and wounds heal, scars remind us of how stong we are.

Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just... not like yourself lately? Maybe you're carrying around a sense of emptiness, feeling disconnected from who you really are, or caught in patterns—relationships, thoughts, behaviors—that just aren’t serving you anymore. If any of that resonates, you’re not alone. And you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself. I’m here to help. My approach is both practical and deeply human. I’m passionate about helping people like you navigate the messiness of life—stress, self-doubt, burnout, or relationship struggles—while reconnecting with what actually matters to you.

The loss of a loved one can bring up many overwhelming emotions. Depending on the relationship and the circumstances of the loss, there can be major life transitions that can occur. It is natural that one might need support when going through such a difficult time. Those dealing with grief are looking to be supported and heard, and it can be helpful to have someone objective to hear their experience.

Here's the truth: Therapy doesn’t have to feel like a chore. My work focuses on helping clients rewire their stress response, break free from emotional burnout, and build a sense of control over their thoughts, emotions, and daily life. I blend neuroscience with real-world humor (because sometimes you have to laugh to keep from crying), practical tools, and a deep understanding of how stress and anxiety show up not just in your mind but in your body. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, people-pleasing, or just trying to stop procrastinating out of pure existential dread, I’ve got you.

We live demanding lives that take up our time and emotional capacity so much so that we often don’t have anything left for ourselves and are too drained to put the effort into making our own lives better. It is time to regain focus on your own needs and passions.
