I think it is incredibly meaningful to be able to support a client or a family in the process of trying new approaches to what had previously seemed to be an "impossible" situation. I also love learning about how to make our brains "work" better in our relationships, families, schools, workplaces, and other important social areas!

We are a family first ABA agency. Our clients are children (ages 1-18) with developmental disabilities and behavioral issues such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Intellectual Disability . Our goal is to empower parents and help children learn the skills necessary to live happy and independent lives.

Psychology and Developmental Clinic was founded by Dr. Brenda L. Arroyo Crespo, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Florida. We provides a variety of treatment options to meet individual needs. We believe in the utility of assessment in guiding treatment and we draw on best practices and evidence-based approached. We are currently performing evaluations to clarify diagnosis such as learning disability, intellectual disability , ADHD, trauma, anxiety or mood disorders. We are currently performing the ADOS-2 to assess and diagnose Autism Spectrum Disorder.

My first goal is to build extensive rapport with my clients. I don't take the "expert role" but rather I would like to align with you to find out how we can work as a team to achieve your goals and decrease the difficulties you are experiencing. I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) clinical psychologist who specializes in the assessment of autism, ADHD, learning disorders, intellectual disability , mood disorders and a range of psychiatric disorders. Evaluations are conducted for diagnostic clarity to guide treatment, intervention and offer detailed recommendations that will help you succeed and reach your highest potential. Once the evaluation is completed, I will provide a comprehensive report and meet with you to discuss the results, explain the findings and review the recommendations.
