I earned my doctorate in Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in 2018; I have worked as an Outpatient Therapist for nearly 8 years and have also been a Certified Teacher with Miami Dade Public Schools for over 13 years. I am a Certified Family Mediator with the State of Florida. My goal as a therapist is to provide a supportive and engaging environment where we explore unresolved conflicts together and find new ways to break relationship patterns that keep you stuck.

Dr. Lourdine Wellon, Psy.D, is a Licensed School Psychologist and a former teacher that has been in the education and psychology field for twenty years. Dr. Wellon provides school psychological services and educational evaluations designed to measure learning and cognitive abilities and behavioral concerns. Services in Haitian Creole is also offered. When you request an evaluation, you will receive a comprehensive written report, summarizing the evaluation results. The evaluation will be reviewed with you. This information can be provided to schools (Please consult with school staff regarding the state of Florida procedures).

I work with individuals, couples, children, and their families who are struggling with transitional life changes, anxiety, depression, anger, self-esteem, relationship issues, parenting, and trauma. I also work with clients dealing with abandonment and issues that they have due to childhood and recent traumas, including grief and loss issues and transition.
