Parenting a child, teenager or young adult with ADHD or behavior issues feels like an uphill battle. The struggle can lead you into a downward spiral with interchanging feelings of anger and guilt. Just when you think you’ve resolved one issue, another one arises, and you question if your child will ever overcome their obstacles, or if this is what the rest of their life will be like. Finding the right therapist is scary because you want to make sure you choose someone who understands you and your child. Fortunately, with the right guidance, it’s easier than you think - going from frustration and uncertainty to confidence and peace.

I am highly experienced in providing services to individuals with anxiety, depression, ADHD and relationship issues.
After a session of Accelerated Resolution Therapy clients are typically filled with joy and shocked at the change in their emotional state. Weeks later I hear clients say, "This changes everything about how I see myself." One client described the experience by writing a song about her grieving experience called, "A Sweeter Shade of Blue". She had felt like her future was gone, but afterwards felt a sweeter sadness about her loss and great hope for an amazing future. You will also learn quick and simple techniques to manage your emotional state on your own. Isn't it time for you to start feeling hopeful and empowered?

ADHD Therapists
Some children and adults with ADHD find it difficult to concentrate on tasks at school or work and may daydream frequently. Children with ADHD may become disruptive, defiant, or have trouble getting along with parents, peers, or teachers. Children who struggle with hyperactivity and impulsivity, in particular, often have behavioral challenges that can be difficult for adults to manage. Adults, on the other hand, may be more likely to report feeling restless or fidgety; if they struggle with impulsivity, they may make rash decisions that adversely affect their life. For both children and adults, executive functioning (planning, emotional regulation, and decision-making) is often affected as well. Many children and adults display either hyperactive or inattentive symptoms of ADHD, but it’s also possible for both sets of symptoms to exist together, in what is typically called combined type ADHD.

If you're looking for a Florida ADHD therapist, these professionals provide ADHD therapy and counseling in Florida.
