Dealing with a spouse or a child with substance abuse issues can be an absolute nightmare. Everybody has advice; family & friends can tell you how to deal with addiction in your family. If it feels like nobody can give you advice unless they've walked a day in your shoes, you're probably right. Drug and alcohol addiction, completely devastates families, I know this personally and professionally. As a woman who has been there, I have helped families navigate the complexities of drug and alcohol addiction within the family.
