My name is Isis and I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida with over 8 years of experience. I have worked professionally as a counselor, school counselor, and motivational therapist. I have worked with clients to navigate a wide range of challenges including anxiety, ADHD, relationship challenges, parenting and family issues, depression, and women's issues. I believe in an integrative approach to therapy. I do not believe in a one size fits all approach. I like to meet people where they're at with techniques that will be beneficial for them.

I have extensive experience serving children with special needs including autism, ADHD, and OCD. Services are available for an array of behavioral challenges and academic supports, and can be provided in homes, online, office, schools and childcare centers. My specialties include behavior therapy, verbal behavior speech therapy, social-emotional development, social skills training, problematic challenging behaviors, and daily living skills, including feeding therapy and potty training. In addition, I provide consultation and supervision services for families, professionals and agencies.

I have provided leadership in program operations for several children's residential facilities and shelters and have supervised clinical therapies in acute residential treatment to those suffering from emergency psychiatric, emotional and behavioral problems, substance and sexual abuse and addictions.

I received my graduate clinical degree, M.S. in family therapy from Nova Southeastern University in 2014 and previous to this I received my undergraduate degree, B.S. in sociology with minors in psychology and child development in 2011 from Florida State University. I have been in the mental health field since 2012. I received her Masters degree in Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University.

I believe we all set out with intentionality to be our best. Often times, when there is a hiccup along the way, we briefly lose our focus and direction, resulting in an uncomfortableness that requires a little assistance. Is it sadness? Anxiety? Frustration?
