I have worked with clients across the lifespan and am comfortable treating people of all ages and backgrounds. I have experience working with adolescents and adults who are navigating identity and relationship issues, life transitions, problems with self-esteem, or dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, stress, and trauma. As a multicultural, Latinx, bilingual woman and mother, I am passionate about working with and empowering other women and femmes, mothers, and people from BIPOC, Queer, and Immigrant communities.
I have a holistic and collaborative therapeutic approach that is first and foremost informed by my client’s needs, values, and desires. I draw upon a variety of theories and modalities including cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, mindfulness-based, and person-centered therapies.
I am friendly, gentle, humble, open, and direct. I strive to create a comfortable, non-judgmental, empowering, and inclusive space where clients can feel heard and supported. I am always open to feedback from my clients and base my sessions around each person's individual needs and desires.
