I love working as a mental health counselor so much that I do it in English, Spanish, and even Spanglish. Becoming a counselor is rooted in my desire to destigmatize therapy and make it feel accessible and normal. I consider it a privilege when clients choose me to walk alongside them. My therapeutic approach is collaborative primarily and grounded in my genuine curiosity about the connections and patterns I identify as we work together. I challenge the thoughts that shape your inner world. I ask questions and share observations to uncover meaning together.
I believe that emotional experiences are potent sources of information, and I encourage clients to welcome their feelings rather than push them aside. Our emotions carry intel—signals about needs, boundaries, values, and wounds worth tending to with compassion. Together, we’ll use that emotional insight to guide deeper understanding and meaningful change.
