Are you or a family member looking for an evidence-based, scientific approach to the treatment of Anxiety, OCD, Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors, or Tic Disorders? Do you need help managing your child's behavior problems? As a Stanford-affiliated psychologist, I specialize in evidence-based approaches to diagnose and treat these these problems in youth and adults. In addition to my clinical work, I conduct research on ways to improve mental health treatment for youth and training for future clinical psychologists.
My clinical approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with strong emphases on Behavior Therapy methods. CBT teaches clients practical skills to solve real-world problems and is practical, collaborative, present-focused, and time-limited (typically 10-16 weeks).
I have several years of experience practicing CBT for Anxiety Disorders, Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD, and Habit Reversal Training for Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors and Tic Disorders. I'm also trained to help parents manage their children's disruptive or oppositional behavior.
