About
Welcome. Whether you’re considering therapy for the first time or you’re very familiar with the process, I’m glad you’re here. Oftentimes an individual comes to therapy with an issue or perhaps a variety of issues. These challenges might cause distress or control an aspect of one's life in some way or another. This can be quite difficult. In the process of therapy, insight is developed through feeling, expression, and the courage to explore aspects of ourselves that we are strangers to. As a result, meaningful change can occur and the tables may turn - managing it, instead of it managing you.
I believe that therapy is not about getting fixed. Rather, its emphasis and power lies in the attempt to better know one’s self via the exploration of one's thoughts and feelings as a means to live more fully and more accordingly to their wants and needs. I believe in this work because this work has been done for me.
I offer psychotherapy and counseling services for adult individuals and couples. I practice psychodynamic psychotherapy on a wide variety of issues, such as depression, anxiety, OCD, men's issues, relationship issues, career issues, and spirituality concerns. I will also use behavioral modalities such as CBT and ERP as needed.
