I strive to create a supportive therapeutic relationship with you and to provide a safe relational space, which I believe are especially important if you feel vulnerable or are in emotional pain. I take an active role in session to help you heal and reclaim your inner voice and truth. I ask probing questions designed to uncover conscious and unconscious barriers to achieving your best life.
As a licensed psychologist, I have received extensive training in the treatment of a wide range of presenting problems and psychological conditions, including specialized training in the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Hoarding Disorder, Social Anxiety, Panic and Mood Disorders.
I gained four years of training and experience in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and anxiety disorders at UCLA. I completed a yearlong program in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis (ICP), followed by five additional years of formal psychoanalytic training at The New Center for Psychoanalysis (NCP).
