I conduct therapy for teens and adults presenting with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, complex trauma, and relational issues. I also offer psychological assessments for teens and adults for presentations including ADHD, gifted testing, mood disorders, autism, learning disorders, academic assessments, testing accommodations, personality assessments, individuals set to take religious orders, occupational functioning, diagnostic clarification, and much more.

The primary focus of my therapy is on the impact that relationships have on our well-being. It is my philosophy that our interpersonal relationships, past and present, determine our sense of self, of who we think we are. Depression, anxiety, addiction, and relationship issues are some symptoms that are often correlated with ruptures in connections. Life changes, such as losses in careers, relationship status, and other curveballs (the pandemic) can exacerbate our way of being.

I am a licensed clinical social worker and certified recovery coach. I work with clients who are struggling with addiction/ substance use disorder, depression, anxiety, trauma and other related mental health issues that are affecting their ability to function and thrive in life. I also work with families who are struggling relating to each other and work to help them resolve conflicts and open lines of communication between all family members.

Having almost three decades of experience in working in the field of addiction/recovery. I am a certified addiction counselor, recovery coach and certified interventionist working nationally and internationally. I work with individuals and their families who struggle with addiction and need help. Specialties: Interventions, transport, case management, executive,recovery coaching, and Family Guide which provides help for the entire family utilizing tele-conferencing. I am providing the Gold Standard in effecting change in individuals and families. I also provide workshops focused on addiction recovery and related issues. Workshop can be held in the office, home, for families and groups.

Dr. Morgan Thomas, PsyD is a Post-Doctoral Resident at Palm Beach Behavioral Health and Wellness. She conducts individual and family psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults. She also offers psychological assessments for children, teens and adults. Dr. Thomas practices an integrative model of therapy, where she combines psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral therapy, and family systems theories.

My name is Laurah Pastel Shames and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Miami, Florida. My private practice specializes in the treatment of anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, and other related disorders including but not limited to phobias, social anxiety, skin picking, hair pulling and hoarding. I am passionate about providing people with the skills they need to make positive changes in their lives. My therapeutic approach incorporates the use of evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with the use of Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Alexandra Altman has been practicing as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 2009. She obtained a Master of Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California and a B.A. from Tufts University with a double Major in Psychology and Spanish. During her career she has worked with individuals, groups, and families to address various areas of concern including communication, conflict management, social skills, navigating big changes, feelings of isolation, strained relationships, and parenting. Alexandra uses a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Systems Theory, and Strength-Based Therapy.

My therapist encouraged me to become a therapist. I have my Master's Degree in Counseling with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy (a/k/a Marriage Couples and Family Counseling) from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida.
