I work with adults who are ready to work through patterns that no longer serve them, especially around family, relationships, and the deeper question of who they are outside of what they were taught to be. Many of my clients grew up in homes where their emotional needs weren't fully met or understood, and they're now sorting through what that means for how they attach, trust, and show up in adult relationships. I work with clients across the LGBTQ+ community and am affirming of all gender identities and sexual orientations.

Licensed in NY,TX,FL,AZ,OH,MI, IN,NM,WI,IL, and HI. I'm humanistic and person centered in my approaches. This essentially means that you decide the content of our sessions. I believe you are doing the very best you can in your life and you’ve come to a point where you need an additional perspective on a topic or situation. You may feel stuck, maybe you've tried a lot or a little to resolve your predicament. Either way that's where I come in. I'm a temporary stop on your journey. Therapy is not forever nor should it be.

My ideal clients are thoughtful, self-aware adults and couples who've often done therapy before. They can name their patterns, triggers, and history — yet the same cycles keep repeating in their relationships, their bodies, and daily life. Insight hasn't been enough. They come carrying trauma, anxiety, relational struggles, neurodivergence, grief, burnout, or meaningful experiences they're still making sense of. I work in the gap between understanding yourself and living differently, helping insight reorganize how you feel, relate, and choose — so change becomes lived, not just understood.

Everyone has a story, from where they have come from to where they are wanting to go. Everyone has road bumps in their story; whether it is depression, anxiety, trauma, these road bumps slow us down as our life takes a sharp turn we didn't prepare for. We all struggle and at the end of the day we find our footing again. I love the work I do because I get walk along side of you and where your journey is taking you and see the growth and change and recover, whatever that looks like to you. I am hoping to be able to work with you and honor your journey and help as we make meaningful change to help create a life worth living

As a clinical social worker, I provide therapy from the standpoint of a mentor, teacher, as well as a guide, in order for clients to have control over their treatment. I use an eclectic mixture of approaches, including strength based, psychoeducational, narrative and cognitive behavioral therapies. Meeting clients where they are is what we do best No medication is prescribed in my office currently as I am not a physician and there is not one on staff, but I do work with many physicians from around the area. I will gladly refer to a physician if medication management is needed or a clinical psychologist for formal testing.

Slay mama! You found my profile! I value creating a space where we will explore who the villain of your story is, whether it be feeling overwhelmed, isolated, or something else. While I enjoy working with everyone, as a queer therapist, I specialize in working with queer/trans teens & adults. I appreciate creating a comfortable & geeky space where you can show up as yourself. Sometimes that looks like discussing your OCs and other times it means watching real housewives and how your partner can be just like Meredith Marks.

The dragonfly, in almost every part of the world, symbolizes the change in the perspective of self-realization. The kind of change that has its source in mental and emotional maturity and the understanding of the deeper meaning of life. We weave this meaning into the fabric of our mission and in the work we provide to every client enrolled at SHARE. Are you stuck or lost? Are you struggling with anxiety and fear? Are those intrusive thoughts derailing your days? Feeling disconnected from yourself or your partner(s) can leave you feeling unloved, undesirable, and alone. Whatever your struggle, I am here for you.

I also write letters of support for gender affirming care.
Not everyone has the same experience of the various parts of their identity, but that doesn't mean we don't want to connect. You want to understand yourself and your loved ones, and you want to be understood. No matter who you are, you deserve to be treated with respect and dignity as you work toward your goals. And you deserve to know your therapist is here to support you, comprehensively.

If you are neurodivergent—or supporting a neurodivergent teen or pre-teen—and feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or misunderstood, you are not alone. You may be navigating a world that doesn’t always support your brain, sensory needs, or energy levels. I work with neurodivergent teens and adults, including those with ADHD and autism, providing practical, respectful, and individualized support. Whether you’re facing executive functioning challenges, sensory sensitivities, social fatigue, burnout, or life transitions, therapy can offer a space where you feel understood without needing to mask or constantly explain yourself.

Transgender Therapists
As a gender-diverse individual, why might I want to see a therapist who is also gender diverse?
A trans or gender-diverse client may want to see a therapist who is also trans or gender diverse because the client may feel safer sharing their experiences and more confident that the therapist will understand, validate, and support them. But trans or gender-diverse clients can also benefit from therapy with cisgender therapists; this is a personal decision based on the connection between the client and the therapist, and if that connection is strong, therapy will be successful.

What if I cannot find a therapist who shares my gender identity?
Therapy can still be effective if a therapist does not share a client’s gender identity; a large body of research indicates that the most important factor in successful therapy is the therapeutic alliance. A therapist can also be interviewed for sensitivity and competence on gender identity and expression to ensure they possess appropriate knowledge and skills. Many therapists have excellent training and extensive experience working with gender-diverse clients, and that expertise can be invaluable despite a therapist not sharing the same firsthand experiences.

How can I recognize a good therapist for working with gender-diverse clients?
An experienced therapist should be able to help clients explore their gender identity and expression, alleviate discomfort related to their gender identity, treat mental health challenges and trauma, address existing relationships and communication with family members and loved ones, and determine the next steps pertaining to nonmedical or medical gender-affirming interventions. To recognize a good therapist, clients can ask about these topics and explore their comfort and connection with the clinician.

How might I inquire about a therapist’s experience working with transgender clients?
Clients should feel comfortable asking therapists directly about their experience working with transgender or gender-diverse clientele. For example, clients may ask about the therapist’s training and education with regard to gender identity, how many trans clients they’ve worked with in the past, and what sorts of matters were discussed. You may wish to inquire how a therapist specifically supports the needs of transgender clients or clients questioning their gender identity. A good clinician who is nonetheless not the right fit for you is often happy to make referrals to others based on the concerns you articulate in a preliminary conversation.
