Being a human is exhausting, and sometimes it all just feels like… a lot. You being here, reading this, is already something. Whether you’re struggling to get un-stuck, navigating a lot of challenges or change, or just wanting to feel better from day to day - I’ve got you. We’ve got this.
My therapy is based in empowerment. My goal is to help you learn therapeutic skills and strategies that work for YOU. We’ll work together to build confidence and trust in yourself and your ability to get through hard moments and tough times. My hope is that you leave each session feeling steadier, more understood, and more in tune with yourself.

I work with adults in Florida who are ready to go deeper — using EMDR, somatic therapy, and body-based approaches to reach what talk therapy often can't.
My approach is integrative and body-aware — which means we work with the whole of you, not just the part that can be talked through. For trauma and deeply rooted patterns, I use EMDR — an evidence-based method that works at the level of memory and nervous system, not just thought and insight. I also draw on somatic therapy and IFS (parts work).

Another fight. Another moment where things didn’t go the way you meant them to. You tell yourself you’ll handle it differently—but in the moment, you react in ways you don’t fully understand. This isn’t how you want to show up—but it’s starting to feel like a pattern you can’t break. Because my practice is focused on women, I keep a smaller caseload so I can stay deeply focused on your patterns—not just your symptoms. Using CBT and DBT, you’ll learn to clearly understand and express your needs, thoughts, and emotions so you can respond more intentionally in the moments—and in the relationships—that matter most to you.

My ideal client is someone who has been struggling with OCD for months or years, feeling trapped by intrusive thoughts, compulsions, and endless doubt. They're exhausted from checking, washing, seeking reassurance, or mentally reviewing situations over and over. They've tried traditional therapy that moved too slowly or didn't address their real-world triggers. They're ready to commit to intensive treatment because they're tired of OCD controlling their relationships, career, and daily decisions. They want their life back and are willing to face discomfort to achieve lasting freedom. They're seeking a therapist who truly understands

Treatment may involve exploring patterns, regulating the nervous system, and building healthier coping skills using trauma-informed, relational therapy with EMDR, Brainspotting, and somatic approaches.
If you’re here, there’s a good chance you’re tired of holding everything together on the outside while your body carries the weight on the inside. Maybe you grew up in an environment where chaos, emotional inconsistency, or survival was the norm, and now, despite how capable you appear, you feel anxious, activated, or disconnected from yourself. You might notice patterns repeating in your relationships, emotions that feel too big, or a constant sense of tension that never fully settles.
You don't have to figure out this out on your own. Being present is enough, and we'll find our way forward together, gently and at your own pace.

My goal is to help you love yourself for who you truly are. This can take the form of identifying who you truly are rather than attempting to fit into the boxes you feel others want you to be. I have a passion for working with individuals who have experienced trauma. And helping couples reconnect and understand each other deeper to stop the same arguments from occurring . I want to help you feel more confident navigating the world while feeling safe, less anxious, and able to stop those constant negative thoughts that can be paralyzing at times. I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and other trauma modalities

I work best with individuals who have reached a critical crossroads—often professionals, caregivers, or patients who are overwhelmed, misunderstood, or quietly suffering. My ideal client may be a licensed healthcare provider grappling with impairment, burnout, or the fear of losing their career. Or they may be a person living with chronic pain whose family just doesn’t get what they’re going through. Others come to me because they need to have hard conversations—conversations they’ve been avoiding for years—with loved ones, employers, or themselves.
What my patients all share is this: they want to feel like themselves again.

I weave practical tools like mindfulness and somatic awareness with deeper exploration informed by attachment, EMDR, and parts work to support lasting change.
Many people who come to therapy understand things logically, yet their reactions feel stronger than they want them to be. You might notice yourself getting emotionally triggered, repeating patterns in relationships, or feeling overwhelmed even when part of you knows things should be manageable. Often this happens because past experiences continue to influence how we respond today. I work with individuals and couples to understand these patterns and develop healthier ways of responding. Many people I work with are navigating life transitions, including midlife, when emotions and relationship patterns can feel very intense.

Our ideal clients are individuals and families who feel weighed down by anxiety, depression, or the stress of everyday life. Some are healing from trauma, others are struggling with relationships, identity, or life transitions. They need a safe, compassionate space where they can process their experiences and learn new ways to cope. Their goals are to feel more balanced, build stronger connections, set healthy boundaries, and live with greater purpose. What they want most is lasting change not just temporary relief because they’re tired of “just surviving” and are ready to thrive.

Somatic Therapists
How does somatic therapy work?
Somatic therapy is a form of treatment that focuses on how the body and mind are interconnected. In this approach, physical symptoms are addressed because they may in fact signal emotional distress. Somatic therapists combine mindfulness, talk therapy, breathwork, yoga, dance, and physical manipulations of the body to help patients become more attuned to what their body is telling them.
Is EMDR a somatic therapy?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of somatic therapy, as it incorporates mental and physical principles. EMDR involves remembering a traumatic experience while allowing one’s eyes to track a side-to-side visual stimulus from a therapist. This lateral eye movement is believed to diminish the painful power of the memory so that it can be discussed with a therapist.
Is somatic therapy evidence-based?
Somatic therapy has been researched and studied, and some forms of somatic therapy are found to be effective in treating a wide range of conditions. Because somatic therapy encompasses many techniques, some, such as EMDR and meditation, have been studied more than others.
What is somatic trauma therapy?
Somatic trauma therapy is based on the idea that when people experience trauma, they can become stuck in the “freeze” part of a “fight, flight, or freeze” response. In this state, trauma can manifest itself both mentally and physically—through tension in the muscles, anxiety, and stress. Popular forms of somatic trauma therapy include EMDR, sensorimotor therapy, and somatic experiencing.
