If you’ve done the work, asked the questions, tried the tools — and still feel stuck — you’re not alone. Sometimes the problem isn’t just mental, it’s biological, emotional, and wired deep. This work is for people who are ready to slow down, look closer, and finally make sense of what hasn’t made sense for a long time. Not through talk alone — but through real, grounded healing that meets the system where it actually lives.

I’m an EMDR therapist with a heart for people seeking freedom from narcissistic abuse, gaslighting, & toxic relationships.
Have you lost your sense of self? Does the past feel like a confusing mess, leaving you wondering if you’re the problem? You care deeply about the people in your life, but you feel utterly burnt out & unsure how long you can keep going like this. You’re tired of failed relationships, people-pleasing, & codependency. You long to stop saying “I’m sorry” & start living a meaningful life —on your own terms. You’re ready to process the toxic relationships, but explaining yourself to others feels daunting. How can anyone truly understand the thousand tiny wounds you’ve endured over the years—the kind that don't leave visible scars?

I specialize in helping people untangle the effects of trauma, emotional abuse, and complicated relationships (especially narcissistic partners or family).
I bring both clinical expertise and genuine human connection to every session. You will not receive a one size fits all approach here, instead, I will meet you with empathy, straight talk, and strategies that fit you. Therapy with me feels collaborative, supportive, and at times en a little surprising because real change rarely comes from playing it safe.

Working with people who need and want to change has been a great career. I get to work with brave individuals and couples who choose to face the need for healthy change. Wanting to be different does not make it happen, you have to work at it. Clients come to therapy for many different reasons, but it all comes down to wanting to feel better, to be better and to be happier. Being emotionally well takes work. That's the work of therapy. It takes courage and time to work on ourselves. Finding a therapist to help with that is important. Understanding the person and knowing how to best meet their needs is critical in therapy.

Are you having difficulty communicating with your spouse or partner? Do you feel unheard or alone in your relationship? Maybe it feels like you are having the same fight over and over? If so you, you are in good company. The number one issue couples report is ineffective communication. Interestingly, research suggests most issues couples face are perpetual. The good news is solving these issues is not as important as learning how to have respectful communication about them. The better news is helping couples communicate more effectively about tough issues is my specialty.

Narcissistic Personality (NPD) Therapists
What type of therapy is best for narcissistic personality disorder?
Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is best treated with talk therapy, which could involve cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, schema therapy, gestalt therapy, or similar approaches. A therapist will help a patient uncover the feelings that may drive their behavior and discover how to engage with themselves and those around them with greater empathy and understanding, fewer demands, and less defensiveness, with the goal of developing a more authentic sense of self that enables healthier relationships.
How do therapists treat NPD?
By developing a strong therapeutic relationship, and continually focusing patients on relationships, community, and connection, a therapist, through talk therapy, may be able to help someone with NPD change. In sessions, a therapist will help an individual achieve relief from their current stressors, including the treatment of co-occurring conditions such as anxiety or depression. A therapist may also help an individual to recognize unhealthy coping mechanisms, learn new ways of interacting with others, and eventually become able to feel and display empathy.
Can a narcissist be cured with therapy?
Therapy can be effective. After a serious setback or great loss, someone with NPD may be forced to recognize that they are not immune to life’s challenges. That can spur feelings of melancholy and depression that lead them to seek professional help. Once an individual decides to seek help, they have already taken a step that the majority of those with NPD never will. Still, people with NPD often quit therapy as they naturally resist feeling vulnerable, being challenged, or admitting to flaws.
How can you get narcissistic personality disorder treatment for someone?
It is notoriously difficult to convince someone with NPD to seek help. With their feelings of superiority, they may be unlikely to recognize or acknowledge that they have a problem, or that their problem is narcissism. Sometimes, they are aware that they are arrogant and that others resent them but they don’t see it as a problem because they are convinced of their superiority. People with NPD have trouble maintaining relationships, but family members and others who do feel close to them, and whose presence they value, may be able to encourage them to seek therapy.
