Are you having difficulty communicating with your spouse or partner? Do you feel unheard or alone in your relationship? Maybe it feels like you are having the same fight over and over? If so you, you are in good company. The number one issue couples report is ineffective communication. Interestingly, research suggests most issues couples face are perpetual. The good news is solving these issues is not as important as learning how to have respectful communication about them. The better news is helping couples communicate more effectively about tough issues is my specialty.

My main specialty area is Jungian therapy, as it intersects with spirituality and myth. Before conducting therapy, my first profession was teaching. I taught at the University of South Florida, and Jungian psychology was integrated in with my teaching of Comparative Religion. This was also a focal point for me in grad school. I have studied and researched it on a personal level since the 90's, so for 25-30 yrs. In life, we follow certain rituals and/or myths. Sometimes those prescriptions need to be revised to find wholeness; other times, we need to rewrite the script & create new ones. I'd be honored to support you on your journey.

I specialize in trauma, couples, and infidelity.
My goal is to help you love yourself for who you truly are. This can take the form of identifying who you truly are rather than attempting to fit into the boxes you feel others want you to be. I have a passion for working with individuals who have experienced trauma. And helping couples reconnect and understand each other deeper to stop the same arguments from occurring . I want to help you feel more confident navigating the world while feeling safe, less anxious, and able to stop those constant negative thoughts that can be paralyzing at times. I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and other trauma modalities

My work focuses on relationships, trust issues, healing from infidelity, and navigating next steps.
Life is meant to be lived with joy and authenticity. Too often, we become products of our environment shaped by society’s standards, cultural taboos, and the expectations of others. Without realizing it, we adopt beliefs and perspectives that aren’t truly our own, living by someone else’s rules instead of our own desires. Therapy is your chance to pause, explore, and reevaluate. Together, we can uncover the patterns holding you back, challenge the narratives that no longer serve you, and help you step into a life that feels aligned with you. With the right support, change can happen faster than you think. It's never too late.

I specialize in anxiety, depression and I am writing a book on walking through the trauma of betrayal.
I believe a lot of us are living in survival mode and just getting by. We have an ability to smile or laugh externally while it may not truly match the way we feel inside. This results in not being fully known and feeling lonely even amidst having relationships. Your quality of life can transcend the battles with anxiety, depression, trauma, life stressors etc. You can love yourself more, live with hope, and experience peace - sometimes you just need a little help getting there. That is where I come in to be an ally to you and assist you on a healing journey.

I also specialize in betrayal trauma, guiding partners through the complex pain of broken trust and infidelity.
It’s incredibly painful to feel stuck in patterns you never thought you’d be in. It can feel like change is out of reach, like nothing will help, but healing is possible. I work with couples, individuals, and families to repair, heal, and rebuild. Conflict doesn’t just live in our words, but in our nervous system, in our body, in our reactions. Using attachment-based and body-based approaches, I help clients move from disconnection and insecurity toward safety, connection, and lasting change.

"The quality of one's relationships determines the quality of one's life." The best investment we can make is improving our relationships. Clients seek guidance when they are feeling discouraged, dissatisfied, and disconnected in their primary relationships. Moving from disconnection to connection requires that clients bring a spirit of courage and cooperation to our conversations. I work with my clients to help them acquire self knowledge and develop skills to navigate the complexities of their close relationships. Understanding the difference between being an ally from being a competitor is key to building healthy, thriving relationships and ultimately, a fulfilling life.

You feel stuck in painful patterns like arguments that repeat, emotional distance, or a sex life that has faded. You want to understand what’s happening between you, rebuild trust and closeness, and create a relationship that feels secure, passionate, and emotionally connected again. Most couples don’t just want fewer fights. They want to feel understood, desired, and emotionally safe with their partner again. When connection and intimacy return, the relationship begins to feel like a source of support rather than stress.

Infidelity Therapists
How does therapy for infidelity work?
A skilled infidelity therapist will provide a safe space for clients to communicate their feelings and concerns. The goal is to be completely honest about what led to the cheating and how it has affected the entire family to prevent it from recurring in the future. The therapist will help the clients work on rebuilding mutual trust and respect and developing better communication and conflict-resolution skills. If the goal is to remain a couple, clients will learn the “danger signs” for their specific relationship, and they will make a renewed commitment to be faithful.

How long does therapy for infidelity take?
Recovery from infidelity can take time, and it can vary from person to person. Generally, a therapist will want to see the clients at least once a week for around six months. Then the sessions can be arranged as needed, depending on the clients’ individual needs. While therapy may end or shift to an as-needed basis, it can take up to two years or more for some clients to fully recover from infidelity.

How does therapy help the partner who was cheated on?
When a client discovers their partner’s infidelity, their trust in the relationship and in the life they had together may be shattered. They often experience mental health symptoms, such as anxiety, depression, grief, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). They don’t always want to stay in the relationship; they may feel ambivalent or may even want to leave. Therapy gives these clients a safe and healthy way to communicate all of their complicated emotions and concerns.

How does therapy help the partner who committed infidelity?
Infidelity often occurs when one or both partners’ emotional needs are not being met in the relationship. Therapy can help this client understand why they cheated and figure out how to address those unmet needs without resorting to infidelity in the future. This can lessen (but not entirely eliminate) the risk of repeated infidelity. Clients who cheat may also feel intense guilt about deceiving their partners, a sentiment that they can work through in therapy.
